Meghan Flynn - Ceramics

Meghan Flynn is a full-time potter in mid-coast Maine. She makes a small line of functional tableware, as well as one-of-a-kind forms and vessels. Everything is thrown, sculpted, trimmed, and glazed by hand using hand-mixed glazes. Twice a year, Meghan participates in the 8-day firing of Jody Johnstone's wood-fired anagama kiln. Meghan values the subtle variations and imperfections of handmade pottery and the fact that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
